Colonial Highland Gathering (Fair Hill Games)
Start
May 15, 2010
08:30 AM - 05:00 PM
Location
Fair Hill Racetrack (near Newark, DE)
This is one of the premier festivals in the region with over 500 competitors and performers from all over the world.
The Fair Hill racetrack is transformed into any place in Scotland where they may be holding Highland games.
Bagpipers, Scottish dancing, sheepdog trials and men in kilts throwing giant logs are only a few of the attractions.
You will be entertained by Celtic musicians of all kinds as well as the living history events. The marketplace will be open for food and shopping.
And it has just been announced that The Most Honourable Marquess of Ailsa, Earl of Cassillis, who is the hereditary Chief of Kennedy, will be a special guest.
You won't want to miss this special day celebrating our Scottish heritage!
